Chock blocks, ground cable, triangles, MSDS sheets for the products you haul, tools, spare brass fittings, soaker pads, spill kit, assorted cam lock fittings, chain parts and chain pliers, cam lock rubber gaskets, a metal pail, a small non ferrous shovel, a cage bolt, hay wire, duct tape, rags to clean your fittings and of course a big hammer.

 

Ok well thanks for all the info, I think I'm gonna have to have a good talk with this guy cauz he doesn't have anything except a fire extinguisher....
I'm getting worried about starting with this guy on Friday.

 

Fire extinguisher could be used as a hammer, and put on the road as a triangle, maybe shoved under wheel as a chock, lol... Multi use!

 

It can also be used to repel first responders who might be inclined to try and put your truck fire out, leaving you with a damaged, but repairable, partially burned truck which will never be the same, rather than letting it burn up completely so you can get a new one... 'cause it sure as heck isn't any good for putting out a truck fire itself.

 

So I finally made up my mind, and I'm wanting to try my hand at coiled tubing up in the Grande Prairie or Fort St. John area. I contacted Trican already, but are there any other good companies in those areas that I should look into?

 

Essential, see them out n about lots, but that's central ab, they get around though.

 

Just got hired to work in Iron River AB starting June 9th - does anyone have any advice about travel? Not sure which company to go with... are there any discounts out there or travel deals... thanks

If you don't have a place better find one now. Going rate is $800-1000mo for a room in Bonnyville or cold lake.

Fly to edmonton and take a bus up would be cheapest.
