Really would like to start truck driving please offer me advice!

Personally, you cant even make a simple decision to stay away from pot, what in the hell possesses you to think that you can drive a truck? You screwed up, you might as well as stay away. If you are that set on it, do as others suggested, get your certificates, complete your programs, then make an attempt.

 

It dont matter what you promised them after you were discovered to have drugs in your system..Once that or any drug shows up in a DOT its all over. Anytime you fill out an app that question will be on it,,Have you ever tested positive or failed a pre employment DOT. If you check no they will find out. That all goes into a data base. And being that it was failed at a company sponsored driving school is worse.

I wouldn't worry about it,just make sure on your next APP you say no,you have never failed a DOT test,and if they find out,keep on lying,," It wasn't me,I never worked at Central..DACs,CSAs,PSPs DOT tests..its all just data banks..Have CDL will drive..find a good O/O that'll take bong hits with you then you guys can crawl up in the sleeper and all kinds of magic can happen....

I seem to be the one with the least amount of problem with you testing HIGH on THC. And again, I am not speaking from first hand experience as I have never used any illegal drug or tested beer.

THC seems to stay in your body for 3 months to a year. I do not know how long the high last. Are people with THC in their system after not having smoked for 7 months dangerous? I do not know.

Who pull you in to tell you that you had failed the drug test? It is my understanding that the information has to come from the drug testing company to you. That is because there are now medical reasons to use marijuana. It falls under Doctor Patience stuff.

Taking the DOT course is something that you could be required to do. You could be without luck in finding a job with the mega companies. But that does not mean you should be barred from all companies. You should be able to find a company once you have pasted their drug testing. I am betting they will ask for a hair sample which is harder to pass. The small mom and pop companies are better in my way of thinking anyway.

I have twice been nominated for US Congress. I never wanted to be in politics, I felt it forced on me. Had I wanted to be in politics I would have lived my life differently. I slept with way too many females. I got sent to prison for child support. Looking back on my life I was an #######, although I did not know it at the time. You have to be a daily smoker for a long time for it to stay in your system 3 months. Also, there are home drug test kits that he could have used to make sure he was clean. I really don't have a problem with people smoking weed but I do have a problem with people who seem to come to the decision they want to be drivers right after putting out a joint. We may not agree with the drug policy but it is what it is and it's not changing. He wrecked his career before he even started and for what, impatience, poor planning and terrible judgement.
