Toughest type of trucking: Moving companies? specific tough docking? Opinions...

    Mine was milk runs. I had to Rember what log book I was using. I ran 97 hrs in 7 days one week the milk house was a pain to deal with. I had no fun at all with it

    Ha ha funny stories. I like to hear these as its interesting to find all the crazy places we have to get these beasts into. I can think of a couple of tough ones. I had a fairly tough one when I brought large rolls of paper down to the Witchita Eagle newspaper. To approach the docks you had to use every inch of the street to swing into a tight alley then you had to pull between a tight row of parked cars before backing. Was pretty sketchy, at least at the time. I had another delivery to the Georgia State Maximum security Penneteniary near Reidsville. Wasn't a difficult dock but thinking about the prisoners who kept bumming smokes from me unseen by staff led me to think that it wouldn't take much for a couple of them to throw me out of the truck and go AWOL. These were most likely the lowest flight risk prisoners to be unloading me so really wasn't an issue but still...could have been tough.
