how about someone take the newest unit for a test drive.

start from vegas. see how it routes to phoenix. but drive the prefered road for truckers. then take a stroll through prescott and watch what happens.

So I guess the best thing to do is have atlas to check rout of GPS before you leave with a load. Before you let your GPS mess you up?

Well i had the RM 710 and 510 over a 2 year time period. Both stopped working and i got frustrated with them. Decided to buy the Truckers Tablet GPS-TT2 and give it a shot. RM if more truckers start switching over to this unit then yall will be hurting. I drove from upstate Michigan to West Jefferson, Ohio following my new navigation unit. Took the shortest way and went through ohio on a few long back roads that RM would never had taken. Plenty of trucks on this route but not an over abundance to say. Was a very enjoyable ride.

As for updates i plug my unit in to my laptop and do a map update once a week and it is free. So far not a single shutdown, lag, or problem with this Android operating system on this tablet.

Will i ever go back to RM? Seriously doubt that when a quick, reliable and accurate navigation unit that is also a tablet cost $250 - $279 and runs great is on the market.

You work for the company or a dealer? You seem to spam this all over different threads.

Of course! Already have the atlas. Just looking for something to supplement that.

Does it matter, or have you established a monopoly on this site?

(Cute of you to completely ignore my last response to you, btw. But hey, when there's nothing one can refute, I guess it makes sense not to address what is said)

No, but this site does not promote spamming, nor dealers spamming.

Truck GPS along with your MCRA are a tool. You have to be able to use the gray matter also.

Seems like you and he are doing the same thing, to me.

... beam in thine own eye, and all that.
