Da mn man, tell him what you really think.
What you are listing as accidents, a lot of us wouldn't even count. An Accident is a DOT re-portable accident. You have never had one of those. Period. Was a wrecker called? Were you towed from the accident site? Anyone Killed? No. None of the above things should be reported as accidents. They will be reported on your DAC as incidents. They do show that you have not become a Trucking God like the rest of us. You are still new. I bet you are not being paid as much as I get. Why because us Gods require more money from the peons we work for.
Start applying now to all the other companies. When you are asked about accidents in the past 3 years, none of the mentioned accidents should be listed. Period. Look at the trailers that are being pulled around. Notice the scratches. Some companies fire the drivers, understand the learning curve.
I am not trying for overlook your need to pull your head out of you a s s but mistakes happen. My first few months can be traced by looking where the stop signs were run over. I blew tires twice by turning too quickly. No tree was safe around me. I have not missed a day of work in 9 years that I didn't want to miss. You are still employable. And I will tell you this and I am sure of it. You are a better driver today then you were when they hired you. Learn from your mistakes and keep on Trucking.blairandgretchen and Lux Prometheus Thank this. -
Trash trucks. Dump trucks don't care too much about stuff like that. Try a smaller trucking business.

Try and find local work maybe a class b type job example..a furniture moving company,a dump truck or construction company, try a few temp company's as well.I been where you at the important thing is to LEARN. LEARN...LEARN...LEARN....AS MUCH AS YOU CAN....BE PATIENT PAY ATTENTION;with truck driving "THERES A CERTAIN TYPE OF MENTALITY YOU MUST HAVE" sometimes operating such MONSTRUS EQUIPMENT...U MUST AND ALWAYS CHECK,RECHECK,DOUBLE CHECK,CHECK AGAIN,MAKE SURE U CHECKED AND THEN RECHECK
SAFETY,SAFETY,SAFETY,SAFETY ALLWAYS 1ST..THAT PHONE CALL CAN WAIT,THAT TEXT CAN WAIT,THAT HOT CHICK CAN WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE IN A SAFER SITUATION
DONT BEAT YOURSELF UP TOO BAD...JUST ACCEPT IT,DONT WHINE OR COMPLAIN ABOUT IT...JUST TAKE YOUR LICK AND KEEP IT MOVING LIKE THE OTHER OP SAID..IN ABOUT 14-16 MONTHS START REAPPLYING TO DIFFERENT COMPANIES- BE PATIENT YOUR TIME WILL COME BACK AROUND...BEST OF LUCK! -
They're always small accidents or minor incidents. Haha

The smaller guys won't. Smaller guys being between 1-30'ish trucks. I'm speaking for current experience here. I work with a smaller refuse company, out of Cleveland. We have > 30 trucks. Most of our drivers are class A rejects. I'm working on getting out of here, atm. I've got to bide my time, be patient and stay for another two months to protect my work history (I've never left a job with under a year of staying there, I'm not giving that up, now.)
We have drivers, with major injuries associated with their licenses. We had a guy, hardly a week ago, have a four wheeler roll under his trailer tandems. He had an at-fault, preventable injury accident prior to this. He is very, very, very, very, very, very screwed, now. I feel very little pity for him, even though he's getting the rough end of a stick. He's a total screw up. now we have Odot breathing down our necks.
I have no idea why I took this job. Maybe, I just thought there was a nice desk job waiting for me on the other end of this tunnel, but it's becoming increasingly clear to me, as I destroy my joints every week, that it isn't there. That my boss is a massive douche. That our turn over rate is +100% for a reason.
TL : DR- Refuse jobs ain't for the weak of heart, and can be considerably harder than a "regular" class A OTR position.
But that's life, eh?blairandgretchen and Lux Prometheus Thank this. -
Sorry but trucking isnt for you. Imagine if your truck rolled down a large hill and crashed into a house killing someone which would probably make national news. Then you would have wished you never became a trucker.

As others have said, get your driving record from the DMV or what ever they call it in your state. Get a copy of your DAC. From their you can figure out if you are screwed or not.
While all three were preventable, the last is the only major screw-up. Call...apply... go in and talk to.
And them come out to the Oil Patch and drive a rock bucket.... as long as you aren't dumb enough to try and pass another semi on the right, when it's trying to take a right turn.... you might just live though it. And Yes I saw that, I just about had a heart attack... I was coming from the opposite direction and the turning truck DID have his blinker on.
But really, you won't know IF you are out of the field for a while til you check those reports..... try slowing your brain down a bit... -
Try to apply with Western Express. They hire anyone and if they don't then hold onto your cdl and give it a year before they hire you. Remember western express does paid refresher coarses. I just did one.
Lux Prometheus and Chinatown Thank this.
