Uphill while turning? Downhill while turning? Rolling or stopped before turning? 90 degree turn? 45 degree turn? 120 degree turn? Way too many variables.
The simple answer is that you need to be in the gear that allows you to keep your engine RPM within its power band while making the turn at the appropriate speed for that turn. So evaluate the particular turn, decide what speed it requires, and select the appropriate gear for that speed. -
I dont shift gears.
