The adventures of 'Team Klingon'

Can I just say right here and now... California DMV has their collective heads so far up their behinds!! OMFG!!

Trying to to get our IRP plate for the truck... They need PROOF that our 'business' is at the street address. All our mail (for the last 20 yrs) has gone to a PO Box. Our personal vehicle registrations show a 'physical' address and the PO Box. Our driver licenses have our PO Box listed as our address!! If you can't trust yourself (DMV) how can we prove it to you!! ARG!!

On a better note... After a few quality QC messages, we are FINALLY on our last leg home! We were so worries they were going to drag us into the SLC terminal and pull plates and numbers, then we would be stuck. CA doesn't have 'temporary' plates for commercial vehicles.

Also our trailer is ready for pick-up ... Woo Hoo!!

 

IRP guy said everything was set.... Except... For the title at the DMV!! We have in our hand a printed registration FROM the DMV... I'm sorry but in our computers it says that it's not complete... We mailed everything back to you... Fun part of this conversation is we were in WYOMING at the time!! Yeah, let me run out and check our mail... OH and please Lord let them have mailed it to the PO Box because anything sent to the street address gets sent back to sender!! (What is causing all this problem to begin with...)

On another note... Just about ready to drop this MT trailer at the Lathrop yard... Last time pulling a Central trailer... Bitter/Sweet... Will miss our DM and the folks (shippers/receivers) on our X loop... But definitely not the 'New' Central!

We will be be returning home and removing all of 'their' stuff... Vinyl, PrePass, QualComm... Putting our stuff in and on... We even got ourselves a QualComm it 'should' make tracking IFTA mileage, logging and other compliance stuff much easier

LOL!! We will need to set up 'reminders' on OUR QualComm ... Just so we can feel like we never left ... NOT! But thank you... Got a good giggle out of that one

 

Finally got the last piece of our puzzle... Our cab card!! Now things will start to fall into place! Also removed the 'company' QualComm and putting ours in... So glad Klingon is mechanically inclined!

On another awesome note... We got home in time for us to be here for the birth on our second grandchild... She was born on Father's Day... And she is amazing!!

 

Cool idea We would have "Monster" and "Kitten" ... LOL!
