    Just in case you don't know . . .

Almost every time I pass by here, CHP is sitting behind a dirt pile or on the ramp. He'll get ya!

CTI passed me, I radioed him over. Over the hill I go, and there he is at the bottom - getting a ticket.

He wailed "Well nobody told me about that one !!!", I keyed up and said "HE'S ALWAYS THERE!"

And if he's not there, he's on the hillside down into Needles.

So - mm118 to AZ line, 55-60, boys and girls!

Just in case you didn't know. Speed safely! B.

Weird, I'm usually through there once a week and never uh... see him.

Not saying he isn't there, just that I seem to get lucky quite a bit.

Edit: Watch, I bet I just jinxed myself.

I should have said its about 60/40 - its been more frequently in recent months.

We generally pass by there 4 times a week.

Must be ME with the bad mojo.

Best not take any chances, Stile. :biggrin_25512:
    You gotta cover your buttox.

    I'm thinkin' a basket of four-leaf clover,
    a rabbit's foot and a
    Buddha belly to rub
    oughta 'bout do the trick.

    Or,

You could hold 'er down to the legal speed limit
in that area, and thereby let others feed the bear.
When the bear-bait gets pulled over and the officer
is preoccupied, hammer down and make a run for the border.

i've rarely seen chp on that stretch, anywhere. but my needle stays at 55 exactly.

with all the warnings you all are getting these days. i don't know why any of you insist on still speeding 4 over.

    blairandgretchen Thanks this.

I can tell you that as long as you keep it @ 59 or less and stay in right lane chp won't bother you...I've had them pass me quite often when I'm doing 58-59mph and never did anything.

blairandgretchen and I Drive Thank this.
