Failed in TN. Need to get CDL. What are my options?

I only told 1 school, hoping to get 'fast-track', since I'm already 'CDL trained', but it backfired. Won't try that again.

As I tried to explain, it's a setup! The examiner (and likely most of them in TN) fails certain students as a matter of 'policy'. I suspect it's because of the recent scandals (as w/Swift) where certified testing schools were giving out 'illegal' CDL's.

Evidence of this is that you can't get an appt for Road Test sooner than 3 weeks! That's almost certainly because most people are 'returning for another try'.

Apparently, it didn't used to be 'that hard'. I know people who have got CDL's more than 5 years ago without ever doing a Pre-trip; just drive around the block, back it up into a space, and get the CDL.
Now it seems common that most people fail the first time or 2. If you don't touch something (even if you point at it), or if you don't say the required 'key words' (contained in 'their' manual - and different states ARE a little different; they have different 'check boxes' on their test form ), they take off points. They ask you to do a 'partial pre-trip', which means that with only 40 or so points to make, they don't have to take many points off to fail you.
