You are absolutely correct, the van could have been traveling anywhere from 0 to who knows, I think we are all alluding to the media making it seem as a 65mph impact, at least that is what I get out of the reporting.

The only reason I even remembered it was I thought it odd that a limo running a relative short distance would have two drivers. I could see it on a long distance bus, but it just made me take notice being a limo. -

So you made a logical assumption based on the evidence. Much the same as I and others have done, but then you scolded us.
If you think he is innocent, argue for that. I'd have respect for that.
I normally don't make predictions on this type of thing, until I see enough people refusing to believe the evidence. The last time was that crazy driver who was ended by the security guard. Same thing happened there - everybody refusing to believe the truth and cutting the guy slack. I said he was guilty and he was. I'm making the same prediction here, and will apologize if I'm wrong. -
