Hey everyone, I am a new driver and I am having absolutely no luck keeping my truck's ICON or opti-idle system running, and I am roasting. I have tried following the instructions, but they are about as clear as mud, so I'm not sure if I am getting the timing down wrong or what. Please help!

Truck make, model and year?
-
Freightliner International ProStar Eagle, not sure of the year but it has 406k on it.
-
unloader, 8thnote, cabwrecker and 5 others Thank this.
-
I have tried setting the cruise control on it and turned on and set the thermostat in the berth both before and after the ICON light flashes, and still it shuts down without coming back on.
-
While idling ignore the Qualcom message and watch the idiot lights on the dash. When the idle shut down light comes on push the clutch pedal to the floor one time and enjoy.
-
So no need for the cruise to let it run through the night?
-
Because when I hit the clutch it does get rid of the light, but then it comes back 5 minutes later and if I let it go it shuts all the way down.
-
HorizonRider74 Thanks this.
