Are you familiar with trans-system companies?
If not, check the website.knuckledragger Thanks this. -
http://www.trans-system.com/
The website shows them being located in Spokane. Do you know of any companies that hire new drivers North of the Seattle area? (Everett if possible - 'Land of Boeing') -
Not sure what you mean by new drivers; your profile shows 7 yrs. experience.
Many companies hire out of Everett, but aren't based in Everett.
Cardinal Logistics - would be my first choice - usually good paychecks
Lessors Inc.
Knight Transportation intermodal division
Jim Palmer Trucking
Gordon Trucking
Cemex
Sherman Bros.
FedEx Express
Interstate Distributor
New Breed Logistics
Roy N. Carlson Inc.- milk tankers
Leavitts Freight Service just hired a new CDL grad even though the website says 2 yrs. exp. required. Should be some good money with that company hauling over length loads.knuckledragger Thanks this. -
Lots of freight,
good equipment -
When you say 'many companies hire out of Everett, but aren't based in Everett', what do you mean? If I were to hire on in Everett, would I return to Everett at the end of my 'shift' or 'route'? (Long haul or otherwise)
Thank you for the list of companies; I will look them up. MUCH appreciated! -
You would get home time in Everett. Probably get more home time if you hire on with a company that runs Western 11 states or Northwestern states, such as TWT Refrigerated Service or James J. Williams.
Many companies offer running 48 states or regional or local.
Running 48 states you might be gone 2-3-4 weeks. It's important to be careful, depending on how much home time you want.knuckledragger Thanks this.
