So if they check your records can they detect internet activity on your phone or just calls/texting? For example I'm reading this forum and I get a critical event?

They only ask for records when you get a random alcohol test, or in the case of an accident. If you are stationary when looking on the internet, then there is no issue at all.

Lots of apps that only use data and much harder to detect if driver was using it or not, many apps use data all the time.
