I still enjoy a good conversation, when I can find it. But I honestly only got another one for customers that require it and to let another driver know of an emergency(if He has one and it's on)

I wouldn't drive without one, mines always on. Probably comes from my years in the military, but I don't think you can ever have too much situational awareness. Helped me avoid all kinds of problems. I give as good as I get though, and never take anything personally.

JAR HEADS - STATE OF THE LEASE's ADDRESS .
The big and I mean BIG DIFFERENCE in the SNI , Lease Deal vs a Standard LP is this
SNI LEASE
1. YOU are in control
2. YOU choose your lanes
3. YOU choose your Home time
4. YOU run your business and can control your profits
5. YOU choose your truck
6. YOU choose your term 1,3, or 5 yrs
Difference is in standard LP ... THEY / THEM = other carriers
1. YOU are told what to do by THEM .
2. YOU are told where to run THEY choose your lanes
3. YOU put in for home time , THEY approve it or not
4. YOU run your business , but THEY control your profits or lack there of .
5. YOU can choose your truck ( sometimes )
6. THEY already set your term for you and set you up at THEIR matrix based on THEIR numbers .
So my point is on the inside not all LEASE DEALS are the SAME .. There is only one I can think of that gives you TRUE FREEDOM and that's the SNI CHOHCE LEASE .
The State of the SNI LEASE is Strong ...
God Bless You ..
And God. Bless America ..

Or maybe it's driver's like your self who is content with the companies making a fortune off of company drivers by paying the same wages they were when I started Trucking in the 90's who have allowed the trucking companies to make the industry what it is today. My truck payments to SFI after 52 weeks will only total 41,326 dollars for the ENTIRE year so how you figure DFO's payment for 6 month's total 30k is proof you can't do simple math past 1000.00 which must be why you're content with a grand a week. How long would it take you to save 15k on your 1k a week salary? Why is it your the expert on someone else's business. I am happy that you're happy with your 1k a week and I have zero problem with you doing as your told to get your 1k. Good Luck but why in the HECK do you feel the need to BASH SNI and their Lease Program. I won't respond to any more of your baiting but I will say in Closing..You have a wonderful day and Bless your Heart.

Made my first truck payment of $693 on Nov 25th since part of the deal was SFI would cover the first 2 weeks payments. From then to today is 30 weeks I believe? So 30 weeks x $693 = $20,790 in truck payments made so far.
My truck was purchased for $80,000 and at the end of the 52 week lease I owe $54,000 on the truck. At the end of the 52 week lease I will have paid $692*52 = $35,984 towards the truck but still owe $54,000.
$80,000 - $35,984 = $44,016 IF it was "zero interest"
Actually owe $54,000
So, 20.3722% interest.
High, yes, but for a first time buyer with no credit, doubt I could do much differently.
I plan to talking with a bank about financing the residual that I owe on the truck as since I will now have some history built up maybe I can get a longer-term, lower-payment and hopefully lower-interest loan through them.
Sorry I'm ruining the trucking industry for you. I truly don't understand why doing what I am doing bothers you so much.MThunter, HotH2o and harlycharly55 Thank this.
