Lol what's he going to tell the police anyway? "Gee officer, he made me back up and hit the car behind me, so I punched his grille. I wanna press charges"

Officer: "So lemme get this straight, You weren't paying attention while backing up, hit another innocent person, went psycho and assaulted a Peterbilt? Nice going idiot!!" (Phone goes click and dial tone ensues).

    Wouldn't worry about it.

Police Officer (PO): "Mr. Out, why did you leave the scene after Mr. Dipstick punched your grill?"

Wore Out (WO): "He did what?"

    PO: "He punched your grill."

    WO: "When?"

PO: "Right after you 'forced', well, he said you forced him into the vehicle behind him."

WO: "Uh, well, I never forced anybody to do anything. There certainly wasn't any contact between our vehicles and I simply made it clear that I wasn't able to move over any more in order to complete my corner. You know how it can be in these large vehicles. I suppose Mr. Dipstick must have been road raging, threw it into reverse and hit the vehicle behind him. I thought he was just flailing about. Did he really say he punched my grill?"

PO: "Uh, yes sir. He said he punched your grill."

WO: "Well that sounds like a really stupid thing to do, don't you think?"

PO: "Yeah, that's what I thought too. Well, you have yourself a nice day, drive safe and watch out for the idiots, Mr. Out."

No it didn't dent it, he hit the corner where the ribs come to solid aluminum. I did have 61 fool critters on board not counting me and booby dog. (my blue heeler) He left big patches of DNA to be washed out later lol. That's the first time in 19 years any one assaulted my Peterbilt honestly I was at a loss as far as what to do. The way he shrieked when he hit the grill I thought it burned him or something, all 5ft 2in of him lol.

There were no injuries, you don't even know if he punched the grill with the long hood. Not your fault. Hit it and quit it. Hammer down. Freightlinerman out.

Yeah.... more important to get those critters in the wind than to stay and take care of the little guy.

I have been told by my instructor's that as a driver blocking traffic if you force someone to back up in order for you to make your turn, you are guilty of impeding traffic. Now forcing someone is subjective, my local leo here says intimidation is considered forcing. All that pick up driver has to say is that he was intimidated to back up. Sure he will get the ticket for hitting the car behind him. But if the cop has a hard on, he can surely figure out a charge for the truck.

They're going to compare the burn marks on his hand csi style and match it up to your grill. It's only a matter of time before the law catches up with you. I saw this rerun episode at the truckstop the other day.
