Probably someone drove her down and dropped her off there.

How much did you take with you?I would think 20 minutes is plenty of time.

I'm sorry but there is more to the story then what is being told or will ever be told. I mean first offer of 0.47cpm then upon arrival it drops to 0.37cpm. That alone says something was misrepresented. But no one mad about being sent home from an orientation will ever come here and say man I tried going here but screwed up and lied and got sent home. No instead they come on acting like saints and everyone else were sailor mouthed liars and disrupting the class. I was perfect and they just picked on me because they didn't like me because I'm a girl or I'm obese. It will always be everyone else's fault but their own and the company is a crap company with lying recruiters and blah blah blah. Every week there's always atleast one new post from a new member with an identical story. Fess up...you lied on the phone and their initial offer of 0.47cpm was based on your words and what you put down. Then when you showed up they started the verification process, hence the 10cpm drop and when it kept going and they found more lies, you probably didn't meet their minimum requirements which is why you probably lied and hoped they wouldn't find out until after you started if at all. Decked probably has a minimum months experience requirement that you haven't met yet with 0-1yr experience. But no one is ever big enough to admit their lies or mistakes. Easier to blame others even if it's unjust to cover their own butts.

I never knew Decker paid .47 cpm... Now I might have to check them out.

I checked them out. .39 cpm premium level with a cap of .44 cpm.

Those sound like flat bed numbers, and far be it for a trucking company to tell you big miles on the phone, and you get there and some how it went down. Uhh that happens ALL THE TIME. But yes if she was signing up for flatbed they may have sent her home because she had female parts. Maybe she didn't want to pull the reefers. Who knows..

0-1 year experience, .47 CPM offered. Not likely. Good luck in the future

I'm inclined to believe the young lady, if she answered an ad that was placed on craigslist or another website posting jobs. I have found quite a few "company recruiters" were not employees of the company they were recruiting for. I'm not sure how they get paid, but they take all your info and submit it to the company, under the guise of recruiting for the company, or other companies. They inflate the benefits, pay, average weekly miles, etc., anything to hook people into applying with them. Some have even gone as far as to misrepresent the company you are applying to. Imagine your surprise when you apply to a good company, only to be contacted by a representative of a company you wouldn't be caught dead at, welcoming you to their company as they have received all your info and you are a "outstanding candidate" for hire. It is very possible she got caught up with one of these "illegitimate recruiters" and their unscrupulous tactics. Bottom line is: research and call the company yourself and deal directly with them instead of a vague ad that promises "Best pay in the industry, we hire recent grads starting at .xx cpm, 80 mph trucks", etc. It might save you a lot of embarrassment or heartache, as this young lady found out. Just my 2 cents.........

That would have been a real good idea.Oberg has an ad in the work for you paper every week and heard they're not a bad company.Plus you can take your reset at home rather then on the road.
