your assumption is worthless to anyone other than you, i dont know how else to say it at this point. werner wanted the load there, and was more than willing to get me driven out lf there after.
you get fired when you BREAK the HOS laws, not when you adhere to them. you are so afraid for your job that you will break the law to keep it? what have you done that makes you so afraid of FOLLOWING the letter of the law? do you have a DUI and cant find employment elsewhere?
what happens when out of hours at receiver?

However, it really doesn't apply very well in this situation, especially if you drive for a company that will not authorize it.
I had a Walmart DC spend over 6 hours unloading me when they were supposed to do it in 2 hours. I had more than 2 hours when I got there and the TS was only a couple of miles away. I told them how much time I had, but they let me sit for 4 hours before they started to unload. Then they tried to make me leave the property right away and threatened to call the police the second time they woke me up. I told them I wish they would, then we could get this straightened out.
They never called the police and I finished my break in their lot. They harassed me by pounding on the side of my truck every 30-45 minutes. I contacted my company and they said wait for the police, if they ever show up. -
I think that your word cannot be relied on or trusted.teddy_bear6506, Hammer166 and Cranky Yankee Thank this. -

but you are supposed to keep your left door shut, it was obviously your fault for not planning ahead. good for you for calling their bluff about the cops, the cops will have you do the same thing im advising, call your company and get a tow truck driver to drive you down the road...... -
You are probably correct about wherever it is you are from. -
