Random LTL Rants (all are welcomed)

Well a REALLY bad day. They decided to screw me up and send me into Nassau county.... Literally missed half my deliveries and missed a pickup...CRAZEYDUDE WTF??? Your supposed to do that route!! you know it better than me... Plus 48s DONT belong there. I swear it's worse than the Bronx

 

I had an equally bad day in Bohemia, young grasshopper!!
went out with 10 deliveries at nearly noon, in a'53! And before 2pm dispatcher was hitting with 6 or more p/u's, and i hadn't even done half my deliveries. Brought back two stops, blew 3 pick-up's! Oh well, Im old and Slow! Ha ha And I got "trapped" at a few stops, that a 53' trailer should not be in! Nuff said. Good news, No Home Depot tonight!! P&D sucks, just different color trucks! ha ha a poet I am! Crazey out!

 

Some times you just want to slap the snot out of dispatchers!

 

I've been doing Bohemia and that area.... I know the area very well. I guess a certain route planner needs a REAL smack on the head. Plus all of west bury closes at like 3. No overtime today.... If they like getting half the stuff not delivered and pickups missed, just keep being stupid.

 

Actually it's our route planner. Our dispatcher is normally good. Except when I get pickups that close at 2... When an earlier truck is empty and I'm still delivering

 

Some days have to take a 5 minute breather and just laugh. I'm still processing what went wrong yesterday.
Tons of OBL's should of went out last night, Dispatcher just informed me we have 4 wagons that need to go ASAP West to terminal.
2 cups of coffee in, leaving house now

Looks like doing road drivers job, then come back do P/D. Hello 14 hours. Can't imagine me running another set west, it's already late assuming another driver will take it.


ETA: Wooo hooo I get to run more then 180 miles with a set

 

Well here I sit at a lovely Home Depot parking lot! Staring out at a muggy dark abyss, and the LIE in the background. It's gonna be a looong one too! Got here with a full trailer just before 8pm! Not even in a door yet, waiting for JB hunt to make their Grand appearance! Hope everyone is enjoying their night off! Even you, young grasshopper(Ach)! Crazey-out!! In Jericho.

 

Yea I'm good CRAZEYDUDE. Been doin the north fork. Seems my old beater is OOS. Oh well it's shot
