Roehl Driver Check In Continued

Dropped the reefer underground 6 hrs ago after sitting above waiting for dock for 2. After sitting 3 for live unload 15 miles away. Makes a nice 45 mi day. Oh, just called and it's loaded after only 8 hrs.

 

This is why getting paid by the mile should be illegal.

 

I would prefer a minimum salary, plus all miles.

They shut my trlr down in Gary and cost me 4 1/2 hours I didn't have for a wheel PM, but let a guy who hit a pole and dragged his trlr through so bad, it bent the wall, and shredded the cross members of support, skirt by the fuel Island. I tried to stop the driver, but he drove out between two other drivers in front of island, and snuck out gate.

He's probably gonna get someone hurt with that loaded trlr.

Guess no one cares anymore....I80 OH turnpike plaza westbound for the dustbowl/mud pit in Gary by 10am. Then they want me to wait for a 6am live unload the following day 30 miles away. No layover as less than 24 hrs. Asked if I should drive 40 mph for 800 miles to be closer to their schedule. No response yet.
