I got called on the way in and told pick up trailer and go to Murphy.
Then just as I'm hooked he says go by SDV and get a 10am cut KLM carton.
Was almost 9:30 when I left SDV and went to Murphy.
One of the pieces at Murphy was 101x101x35. When I got to United they looked at it funny. Turns out if it was to fly on a 767 it would have been ok.
But not on a 777. Took it back to Murphy. She called and tried to get them to take it but finally they unloaded me. I had called the nice lady at the bank and she said come on down. He sent pick up at Astec Carbides for SDV.
Dropped trailer. Went to bank. Went to Astec. Went to SDV which was a madhouse.
Took 45 minutes to get out. He says hook trailer and pick up 1478# at SDV going to Emirates. One of the crates contained lithium ion batteries and so I was at Emirates for quite awhile. I was at the truck stop looking to drop the trailer when he called and said get to SDV and pickup two crates for Cargolux. About the time I was strapping the crates the lady that was sending them said she tried to call Roland but got no answer.
She had just talked to Cargolux and there wouldn't be anyone to unload me.
We finally decided to drop the trailer there at SDV and I would be there by 7:30 to have it at Cargolux by 8am and they will still fly them tomorrow.
    Home about 7.

You are completely right Dave... :yes2557: There's no fresh air in Laredo... :biggrin_25523: And the heat was perfectly endurable... actually, it was really nice in the evening... if it were not for the diesel smell, I wold have kept my windows open for a little longer... :biggrin_25519:

Hope you Dad and your Sister are back at home and your Dad is doing ok... And I wish you a good day... as good as possible...
BTW, the rush hr traffic on I-10 in Houston was bad... but I rather go thru that than Washington belt in MD or that I-95 in CT or NY... After all, Houston traffic is not that bad... :biggrin_25512:

Now at a rest area in LA... will have my last meal and jump in bed... hopefully before midnight.

I remember the DC Beltway. And Atlanta. You are right that compared to some places we have it pretty good around Houston.

Up at an unlikely time so I can do what I got to do....
