Getting' ready fer todays dose of Hotlanta... jes passin' thru.

 

So I got my 8am pick up made and got to SDV by 8:45. He put another one on me going to British Air. Managed to get that and Air France on the truck by 9:30 so made the Air France and British Air cut offs with time to spare.

He calls and says head towards N2It for stuff going to Texas City.
But on the way he says pick up a tote at 500# at Third Coast Terminal ready now.

What a FUSTERCLUCK!!! Got there at 11:45. At approximately 2:45 they brought the tote out. It smashed my springs onto the stops and bulged out my tires.
I'm told it has 500 gallons in it. At a standard 8# per gallon we're talking 4500# with the SS tote.

Got out of there empty at 3:00. Roland says I'll get wait time and dry run out of it.

Came to a truck stop where they have Mexican roasted peanuts that knock the socks off any other peanuts I know about. Guess I'll sit here 45 more minutes unless something comes up.

must of had pity on me with the move being such a disaster
told me my gross was only $200 behind the lead CA driver for the year
so I guess i wont get fired this week

 

Taking a break eating a burger and chips. Gave Booby dog his usual half lol. Gotta step on over to Joplin and meet up with my boy then haul ### to Tyson in Green Forest. Both of us have to load out of Waldenburg Ar in the a.m with white rice headed for Gulf Pacific. Y'all keep your brakes cool we gone
