Fixed that for you. The other 3996 are lease ops who don't own their trucks.

You mean O/O's bring their own trucks to work "with" swift?

Lol got to love the childish word games people play. Oh well i should not even respond to the troll post, which I give only 3 out of 10 for, you need to try harder sir. But I know of 17 that fit your definition of O/O that lease to swift.

Sorry, but words do mean things. An owner op, by definition, owns the truck he's operating. A lease op leases the truck. Most of the drivers at Swift who call themselves O/Os are, in fact, L/Os.

Not a word game, I ask clearly for you to identify clearly if swift has o/o's, but you called to my attention to put together your wording meaning you don't know the difference between "lease/operators - owner/operators"
I do understand swift has 4000+ lease operators, not o/o's.

Owner operators don't work "for" a company, they work "with" it.

I was responding to Lose's "childish word games" comment.

There are a few true O/Os with Swift. I was talking to one some months ago that pulls for Swift under his own authority. Apparently, Swift isn't bad to work with when you are free to tell them where they can stick their load...

And what you call a driver that completed his lease, financed the balloon and kept the truck at swift ? Still running under their plates and permits.

If the driver's name is on the title, then they are an O/O. It doesn't matter whose authority they are using.

    Lucar Thanks this.
