I'm at a Pilot on GA300.... about 3 miles from co. event delivery tomorrow morning. Was counting on parking at event location tonight but was told no overnight parking allowed... :biggrin_25513: Two ladies organizers of the event came to truck stop to pick me up and took me to event location to check it out and discuss preparations... :biggrin_25519: We met with person in charge of location and I was shown how to get in and where to park for event.... 2 TV news crews will be there...
Truck is sparkling clean and shiny... I hope it doesn't rain...

Tell me if this is not some of the most Preposterous BS you ever heard.
The Boss didn't show. But Crystal said "Merv is under no obligation to keep money in the account. He is under obligation by 10am the next day to cover any checks that come in."
She told us to deposit it in our bank. But two checks early on in my time with this company bounced and they refused to take any more.
So anyhow I took it to place another driver uses and it cashed.
Then with all the rain and traffic I was headed for a pick up when he sent me to SDV for a 26# crate going to United. Then go get the trailer which got me absolutely SOAKED.
Went to SDV to get what turned out to be two BIG crates and a smaller one for Emirates.
Had to tarp them but my crappy tarp left the top of the crates wet.
Was to get two pieces at 470# to have at World Trade by 2pm.
That cutoff was hopeless but dropped the trailer and went and got them.
Also got a 167# pallet for Cargolux. Went to Cargolux and was sweating getting to World Trade before they shut down. But did. No further communication so got home 6:30.

Down Penny Lane, on the right. Go past the Walrus, and ignore Lucy in the Skies... she's still staring at the diamonds.
