Watkins/Shepard has their own training school at the Missoula terminal. They used to use Sage Tech.

Are you sure it's the school, and not their orientation, in Missoula? One of the reasons I went with Sage for my own schooling is that, when I called W&S, they told me they use Sage.

W/S has their own school, they do take graduates from other schools, such as Sage, In my opinion the students that started at W/S had an easier time than those that came from outside schools. Like Sal said you are driving on the second day, it is split classroom/driving every day.

Brad, sorry I didnt respond to your PM, I still cant send PM's. Im almost up to 50 posts, then I can PM.

W/S has there own school in Missoula Mt. First day is orientation and paperwork, after that, you drive every day in addition to the off hours they want you to drive in the yard on your own. It is not Sage's school. Hope this helps.

    Hey everyone!!!
Things are going pretty good. We were having a problem getting loads, but it wasnt W/S fault. We had issues with our truck, then moved into a different truck (our choice). At this moment we are in Texas on our time off, my mother is sick and i'm trying to get everything set up for her to be home ridden. Anyway, the only issue for me with w/s is the fact that they dont go to Texas, at least the van side doesnt. All of my family live in Texas, but the flatbedders go down all the time, so who knows, we might go flatbedding. Not sure. I would say for anybody who wants to start a new career in truckin, GO TO W/S School. You will not be disappointed. I am interested to see what happens at SFS. I thought Marcos did a pretty good job, but he is the night time dispatcher. Anyway you all take care out there and Wingrider...we will call you when we are close. Maybe have coffee.

Wingrider - thanks, I'd not been aware of that. (not that it matters to me now, but others might need that info)
