My teammate just bailed. I am devastated.

There is no way I would ever share a truck with two other people. No way ever and companies who think that is okay can go to ####.

Sorry CJ; Your reply that you would not share a truck with 2 others made me re think that maybe I was not very clear in what I was trying to convey. When I said said the 3 of you what I meant was the profit of the loads are shared between the truck owner and the team drivers hence a 3-way split. Most probably not evenly but a 3-way none the less. BTW, As always Good luck and fortune to all those on the road

I thought you were talking about stuffing three people into a cab and calling that teaming. That's not teaming. That's just gross.

Not at all, My exact comment was............It is tough enough to grind out a living as a solo o/o, doing expediting but how does it work out with a 3-way split?? truck owner and 2 drivers? My fault if anyone thought i meant all 3 in the truck at the same time.

CJ; Just thinking out load. What type of truck were you in with your co-driver. As in year and so on. Just wondering

We were in a 2007 Freightliner M2 business class straight truck with 22' box and Alumibunk sleeper.

Been there, did that with an M2. Business class trucks were NOT designed for teaming or OTR. But, at least you weren't stuck with a Hino! Let me ask - do you like teaming? If not, there are plenty of other opportunities for CDL holders available. I worked for Panther for 3 years, and when ABF bought them out my profits shrank due to ABF sucking us dry to pay the union drivers. Since moving on to non-expedited, my finances have greatly improved.

I like teaming as long as it's with someone I get along with. Yeah... I've seen some of those Hinos and some with coffin sleepers. I can't imagine how miserable that would be if you're teaming. Those trucks are half the size of the average jail cell.

Are you still w/ Panther? PM me and I'll supply you w/ an owner who expects you to team, but can be a bit of a marshmellow when and if ya wanna be solo a bit. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around you willing to team in a "business class" anything, so know you'd be an asset!
