What's the length on DOT scales

    Title kinda says it, I've been looking online can't really find a measurement. Putting together a truck and trailer set-up, just wanna see if it's gonna fit on the scale.

    Most DOT Scales are single axle scale, a CAT Scale is normally 70' I believe.

    Most scales are 75ft

    Depends on the states. Some are old scales and are short. Some are 75' and some I've seen are longer.

    I got an idear...Next time you're at the chicken coop, pull over and run over and measure one. Then let us know:
    A. How long they are and
    B. How that worked out for you.

    Don't forget to mash on the brakes when you get on a state scale, they don't like that either.:biggrin_2559:
