A picture would help. I'd say leave it alone. It made it this far!

The customer may tell you to throw in some pipe stakes when you deliver, for safety while unloading.

Of all my pipe loads, I've been told 1 time by shipper to use pipe stakes. Secure it correctly and drive safe, you shouldn't have a problem.

Bellywraps aren't a bad idea either.

I would guess you're delivering in Texas if so the reason Melton put that on there because you need pipe steaks on the outside in Texas Not wood if you made it that far you probably won't have a problem with DOT

I wanted to put some belly wraps on it because that was one thing our guy in orientation kept telling us to do, but to put the proper amount of straps on to where I felt the load was safe and had all the layers and stacks secured, it used up all my straps and binders, so I had nothing to do any belly wraps with unless I used my 2" straps or chains. I think next time I'll try to plan for belly wraps before I get all the layers secured that way I don't wind up with nothing left at the end to do them with again.

I'm going to hit the sack so I can get up early enough to make it to the delivery before they close tomorrow afternoon. So I take it that just drive it as is to the consignee and when I arrive, if they ask for them, go ahead and slide them in the pockets before heading in their yard?

    That's what I would do!

I wouldn't mention it to them, but if they ask you to, put them in. Most likely the will not ask.
