Still have AT&T due to the fact everything is unlimited which they don't offer anymore. Have been thinking lately of switching to Verizon since I really don't use that much data. Any of you switch from AT&T the last couple of years?

    Data gluttons here.
Verizon, unlimited talk and text, 1GB of data = 60 bucks.
    Gluttons!

Verizon actually changed their entire data pricing tiers...30g a month is now the same as i was paying for 16g but they dont offer 16 anymore... 10,15,30,40,80 . You can get smaller data plans but why....since i can now watch live nfl games on my phone i use it a lot..

4 lines for $100 bucks, unlimited talk and text, with a mid range on the 4gle... sorry, I was paying $65+ for V, when I switched to Metro PCS.. granted, I mated up with a family member, however, I went down to $40/month with better service area (your results may vary of course, ) and more product... for less buck$... AND now that we shifted over to 4 lines for $100, I'm paying less then HALF what V was charging, and I don't have to worry about going over minutes on a month when "bad things happen, so I need more air time."

If you are an otr driver verizon is the only dependable service nationwide...

it never fails me and the data works great....

you get what you pay for but i see these guys wondering around parking lots trying to get signal and it is comical..

If metro works everywhere you go, you must stay pretty local. Who's going over minutes, everything is unlimited but data. If you want to buy your phone outright, like you did with Metro, VZW is like $15 a month plus data. Can you hear me now?

sprint is now calling themselves the new network. as for those you who like to say GOOD LUCK. well, it's defenitely good. and only going to get better. their coverage is much better then years past. and they plan on having the bigger footprint when they get done with their expansion plans.

it's probably why v and a have upped their plans. sprint is starting to give them a run for their money at a much cheaper price. the fcc climbing down their throats lately probably also helped.

as for verizon being EVERYWHERE. not where i'm at right now. north of sacramento. most of 80 has gone down hill with my v phone. but, hey, my sprint is working.

as for the extra data. not seeing any offers on my online account. must be certain areas.

every phone i've ever had with verizon has been crappy quality. and the expensive monthly plans. say what you want. buy my 1 and only sprint phone runs circles around the last 3 verizon phones. as for the coverage, it's only getting better.

Verizon doesn't make phones! I haven't had a crappy phone yet. i5s, i4s, BB Bold, another BB, Palm Treo 655?, Moto Q, etc. I don't buy cheap phones though. All the way back to my Moto StarTac. I had an analog, TDMA and finally the CDMA StarTac.
As far as Sprint service, being number 3 and getting better coverage all the time costs me money by missed loads. If a company surpasses VZW for reliability and coverage, I'll be happy to jump ship. That hasn't happened since I switched from Cingular/ATT in 2003 after my phone was cloned.

Used to be with Sprint. There was LONG stretches of 80 an below where I didn't get any service unless I was in Cheyenne, Laramie, or Salt Lake City or in any number of big city or town. Even then, in places like Flagstaff I still didn't get service.

With vz I am almost never without a signal. Also never had problems with phones other than battery life. Typical of Android though. Except phone I got now can last all day on standby or when I lightly use it.
