Want to get even with someone real fast? Give their name and phone number to a JB hunt recruiter. Better yet schedule them for orientation.

    1. Your not a saint so stop acting like one. Your not posting anything that is going to help all truck drivers.

    2. You claimed before that your husband was working 14 hour days and said he was only getting runs where he drove 80 miles or less. Now you are claiming he made more money because he is getting three runs instead of two and that they are 40 miles away from each other instead of 10. That makes one wonder what the hell took your supposed "husband" 14 hours to do two 10 mile runs...I'm not going to buy your husband sitting around all day at the shipper and or receiver because he would've collected detention pay and made more then the $350 a week gross you claimed earlier.

    3. I'm not whining jus tired of ******** is all.

    4. Trying to insult my lower posting status then others and education on here shows desperation on your part nothing more nothing less.

    5. I'm a second generation truck driver I don't work in the office. I don't get paid to be on here by JB Hunt. If I was actually paid by JB Hunt to be on here I wouldn't cut up OTR on here like I do recommending others to get local jobs whether it's intermodal, ltl, food delivery, etc.

Hey Cody1984 if you are tired of the whining and the B then why don't you stop reading this thread and putting in your 1 cents worth! Also I haven't said a word about your being under-educated. As I've stated before pay is different, the dispatchers are different, the detention time is different and if you are second generation trucker then you should understand that truckers need help and organization is the key, more so with Huge Companies that don't want drivers to get there fair share. The Big "U" is what is needed for you guys so conditions could be met. Now we both agree that you are tired of my thread so roll on!

Yes, pay is different for different regions of the country but by and large, it relatively similar across the board and detention pay is probably the same company-wide, about $15/hr.

But what you said about how "truckers need help and organization is the key, more so with Huge Companies that don't want drivers to get their fair share" sounds like union-talk. Good luck trying to get that done with ol' JB.

Maybe your beau should have signed on with a union outfit where things are more 'fair' for the disadvantaged driver rather a place where the driver is paid based on how much work he gets done.

I know nothing about JB but I will say this in 10 years never brought home less than 800 a full work week if I did I would quit and move on no reason not to make atleast that. I did know a guy that only made 300-400 but his work ethics where non - existent spent more time in truck stops than in the seat
