don't know what you failed at, but the single secret to this game is to work......simple as that. No tricks. No one behind the curtain. No 'secret sauce'. Just one reason I'd never do live loads.

 

"i never do live loads / unloads"
"won't haul anything that weighs more than 10k"
"don't do the northeast"
"won't go to xxxxxx"

You will find, that if they pay you enough, you'll go wherever the truck will fit down the street, you'll haul whatever they put in the back, and you'll wait as long as it takes to get it done.

Live can give you time to plan loads, eat, relax, get on TTR, etc. Ya know?

 

I pulled reefer for s year. Time spent in a dock is time not spent driving and not making money.
Live unloads aren't bad because they want you in and out. Live loads are a whole different thing.
