If you drive it with their dealer plates you would be covered by their insurance. Question is if they want to expose themselves to potential liability. I wouldn't bring that up to them though LOL.

In NC the driver is insured as well as the vehicle so if you drove my car and wrecked it your insurance would cover it. Since thats the case it should cover any vehicle you drive even a Big Rig.
