Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

A while back ya'll had a brief discussion of driving jobs and/or companies that could be worse to work for...I recently had one of those jobs/companies visit my house. A honey-dipper (as in a septic sucker (vac truck) and it's crew). I don't care how much they'd pay...my sense of smell and taste is worth more then they could possibly pay.

 

The only bad part about that is EVERYONE tells you "And I thought I had a ###### job"

we've pumped them out with a honey wagon for hog manure, you can see if anyone ate corn lately, then the condoms and hair floats, then it got spread on a field,

 

where will you be for orientation? I start Monday as well. Ill be at the new Kingstown pa terminal

I had open heart surgery last December. turns out I was born with a aortic valve problem and I also developed an aortic aneurysm. I was doing flatbed at the time and I didn't even have symptoms. Just found out by accident really. Out of work for 4 months and I don't want to get back into flatbeds because of how strenuous it is. Basically ive looked at a lot of companies and crete just seems to have what im looking for. Im only 33 and I love driving. ill be on the southeast regional fleet. home weekly and the Greensboro "mini" terminal is 15 min from my house. Not saying their perfect but it seems a good fit. as for the cameras in the truck, don't really bother me

 

and my last company left me stranded at a bus terminal after saying that they would give me a ride with another driver back to my house. this was in PA. I should have had a emergency credit card etc but I didn't have the 160 dollars for the ticket. Guess who covered my ticket? Crete did....they didn't have to do that. classy move....
