As soon as I clicked "Submit" I realized I didn't add the photo and I thought to myself "I can edit and add it before anyone notices". I wasn't fast enough.

Doing load after load. Just posting most memorable load from October

This thing was a pain to Tarp, load was 10 high and the guy was not going to let the truck leave if it wasn't tarp all the way to the bottom. Got to the receiver and they put them outside.

The shipper paid us extra to wash them before delivery, why? unknown. It went to muddy pit in PA.

Now you got me curious, I probably haul 10+ booms a week. I hate straps cuz I think chains are faster. I always chain it down just before the basket, where the boom connects to the basket.

Is it because your driving long distances, why your trying to minimize bouncing cuz its never been an issue for me.

If its an old rental machine thats seen obvious use, I'll chain it and use a snap binder. Quick and easy. But a new or brand machine I use the straps for the boom. I dont want someone to complain that I boogered anything up. Bad enough watching paint chips fly when chaining the secure points or axles.

Typical move would be 400 - 1200 mi. I had a basket gouge my bed once. Didnt realize how edgy under the basket is. I use a 4x4 and need to make sure its going to stay. Between bed flex and the arm bouncing.. anything can happen. I run at night a lot and cant always see if something isnt right back there. So for me a little over kill is safe insurance.

Some pallet racking. I'm so not a fan of hauling these.

You got an easy one there!

My favorite (Not) are the ones they stack 13'6 with 3 levels and misc little bs pallets or bundles mixed in all over that you've got to figure out how to secure along with the main larger peices. Then......THEN.... the expect you to tarp it while negotiating slippery and open pockets up there.

I wont do any of them that need to be tarped any more. I hate heights and the last one took me 2 hours to get the tarps done and still ended up with 3 holes in my tarps.

    Looking good!

That looks like the kind of load I get stuck with when trying get into a better lane.

Glad to see someone else hauling that stuff. Looks like you got it under control.

Its what I haul every week. There will be a load just like it on my drop trailer waiting for me to get back.
