Traded my Freightliner at 521k. Cleaned it out and inspection was painless. Got into a new one. It does have an inverter, no camera. My first thought was along the lines of "Bank error in your favor..." Couldn't get the bunk heater to work, something about "no flame detected", not sure if there is a problem with the heater or if I'm just doing something wrong. My walk through with the shop was pretty brief. Never had elogs or Optidle before, hopefully my learning curve doesn't turn out to be a circle. So if the Qualcomm is cellular, I hope it's better than AT&T.

As far as my plans after Crete....have a few t's to cross and i's to dot before I know anything for absolute certain. It's not earth-shattering by any stretch. But I'm hoping to achieve a little more balance in my life, along with perhaps a little more income. But if it were to not work out, I'd probably return to Crete. I'm intending to leave on the best terms possible.Onadetour Thanks this. -

The truck won't run for AC when it's like 68-70 out but over 100 degrees inside the truck. It's crazy! -
Qualcomm, people net both use the cell network coverage for their systems... and they both use tier level 4 service, which means, that if there is unused bandwidth on the tower, then they may use it, but if a tier one customer needs the bandwidth, then the tier 4 customer gets dropped...
Tier 1 is the company that owns the tower, tier two are the companies that sign a reciprocal data sharing deal, tier three are other cell carriers who do not share bandwidth, and tier 4 are the other data devices.
and since cell towers are line of sight, parking under trees can and does block the signal..Onadetour Thanks this. -
