Ya, no kidding. I figured I would try it for a month and ended up going flat out for 2. I did rack up a ton of money real quick though. I'm single and live alone and in a condo. It was all buttoned up when I left and the winter. I was so bent out of shape after my last load I was driving through this small town like Mayberry RFD. It was early in the morning and a real big main street with diagonal parking on either side so I pulled over and made coffee and just sitting there thinking I had enough and what was I going to do next.

There was an old 3 story hotel across the street and just at that time a local police was driving by and I flashed my chicken lights and he stopped. I told him I needed a break and was thinking of checking into the hotel and asked if there was any parking nearby. He said right where you are.

I checked into the hotel and took like 10 showers. I could look out the window and see my truck across the street. I ended up staying there for 10 days. They had a little diner I would eat at and a real restaurant. Wal-Mart was like 30 miles away. They had a hardware store in town so I fixed a lot of little things here and there. They had a movie theater with a balcony. Real old. Red Velvet curtains that would open up when the show started. The place was packed and kids with blankets sitting in the isles. It was the movie Cars. Everyone would clap and BOO. It was awesome.

    Didn't want to leave.

I ran like this with TMC and actually loved it, once I got into the groove. Luckily for me, I only need 6 hrs sleep, so I can run like this and still take a shower every night. Now I admit that sometimes there is no where to take a shower while pulling a flat but, that is what wipes, water, soap, washcloth and a towel are for...lol Also, I only need 6 hrs sleep each night, but I still have to get a nap in once in a while and a good long 8 hr sleep once in a while too.. I look forward to running like this again, it is actually good for me..

I loaded up with steel tubing today heading to Denver from Ohio. It took forever. They were searching for a 4,000lb bundle of pipe when they realized they put it on another truck before me heading to Miami. The guy is now around 83,000 and probably over on his drive axles. My load is a lot lighter now!!!
