    man oh man oh man.. That dispatcher of mine i tell ya. Got me picking up a 10k Relay in carlisle tomorrow at some point or maybe Thursday .
    That delivers in Planfield CT, Next load is 12k coming out of Manchester CT going to jersey and then a 50 mile trip within jersey paying a beautiful 5.40 per mile to the truck.

    I don't think the guy checked the weather. But he is working on routing me back home Saturday when the family is actually celebrating turkey day.

    48Packard Thanks this.

    :biggrin_25513::biggrin_25513::biggrin_25513::biggrin_25513::biggrin_25513:

    There's a reason freight pays a lot more there, nobody wants to do it. I wouldn't want to either lol

    I fit smack dab in the crazy catergory I'm hopping i'll miss traffic. My plan is pickup the relay and the go shut down on 78 somewhere. THursday i get to CT Deliver get my next load and get back to jersey. Friday midday deliver pick up and live unload and then i'll plan from there my next move. More likely i'll plan that tomorrow or thursday.

    Interesting couple of days, Pulled out of Carlisle around 3 am on turkey day headed across 78 and the srain <<< snow and rain just would not stop. Fed-wrex trucks blew past me like it was a sunny day. Traffic was pretty light seen one really bad accident i fear someone didnt make it to thanksgiving dinner rest there soul. I have some video of that i'll see if i can upload when i pull videos off my camera.

    Aside from that got up the CT probably free pulled a load out of Manchester CT at a lovely 10000# hangers.. stacked to the door. I was supposed to deliver that in jersey but new yorkers decided they would jam all the roads.

    Shut down around 230 pm then woke back up at 1 am just to drive the hour from CT to the Kearny lot i cant deal with day time traffic on the GWB the cross bronx stresses me its signage overload.

    Delivered around 3pm today receiver wasn't there, they left a note for me to just put the trailer in a door. Thats how i found out i was hauling hangers looked like they stood the trailer on its nose and tossed the the boxes in. Had my 5.40 per mile load cancel on me.. broke my heart but I found a load to bridgewater to get me past the house.

    Ill ship out of here sunday since i currently cant find a load that i like out of there for tomorrow.

    Anyone have a heated mattress pad I'm really considering getting one these winter nights are getting chilly.

    That stretch of 95 just sucks never ending construction, from Ny up to 91 just bites. And wjat is NY doing with the tax money that road is beat up. Im scared to go to buffalo i dont have a snowmobile attachment.

    Yes i have a tri pac but it does absolutely nothing for heating. Im not sure if its even supposed to. I do have a bunk heater but once temps get into the lower 20s into doesnt heat the air enough probably because most of the heat goes to the ceiling. Maybe I should check with Thermo King about my Tri Pac not doing anything as far as heating is concerned.
