My espar would keep the inside of my truck warm even down to the single digits. I'd have that checked out.

In my cascadia the temp sensor was mounted right above the hvac controls for the sleeper. I would set it at around 76* ususally when it got real cold.

In my Kenworth now the sensor is mounted lower, at the mattress level of the buttom bunk, so I will probably need to turn the temperature up higher since heat rises. I would also aim the nozzle from the espar heater down and angle it against one of the cabinets slightly as this seemed to get the air to distribute most evenly. If you point it straight down or up and don't angle it to the sides it just blows all the air up front and then the warm air goes up.

My cascadia was great it would be a oven in that truck with it set in the 70's i have to set this one to 79 minimum and even at the temprature it'll shut itself off here and there. I have to do atleast 82 to keep it running maybe i'll trying setting it higher i think it goes to 90. The angle is another issue on one side i have a open cabinet it'll just fill in and the opposite that is the fridge i feel like heat shouldn't be blowing into that . Im gonna angle it into the fridge sunday night and see how that works and maybe try out 85.

It could also be the fact that the truck has windows and thats the reason my head is cold the cold glass is making the space by my face cold.

The T680 comes with the bunk heater from the factory.
That's why the Tripak heat setting doesn't do anything..no heating element/hardware.
I have the same problems with cold coming in the windows..I'm going to seal them with plastic.
Try pulling your bunk curtains when it's really cold..keeps the heat in a smaller area.

I used my bunk heater on my T680 down to 5 degrees. Worked great! One thing you want to do, is run the cab hot when the engine is running, then start the bunk heater on a higher setting. Should hold.
