How many miles do they put on tractors before they are replaced?

I think it depends on how much trouble the truck is giving them. The most miles on a truck I've been in is about 600k iirc.

Hit the 60k pay mark this check. Been a good year with plenty of home time. Going to build an overhead cabinet to put in the sleeper of the new truck. I figured out a way to secure it well. Should give me enough storage to get by on.

Cool RD, glad you got a new Mack! :) I'm still in my '12 Pro Star and since the dealer got the metal shavings out of the fuel system, its been running great! But the new Macks are cool! Your cabinet idea sounds like a good one!

Yes definitely post pics. I need ideas for mine. Moving a duffle bag to the driver's seat every night is getting old. It's going to be extra rough when I've got mine and a trainee's stuff in here.

Thanks, I guess. lol They asked me if I was interested a couple months ago. At first I wasn't really as I have only been driving 3 and a half years, and can't imagine "training" a guy with 20 years experience. but after thinking about it, I thought it might be fun. Just went to Greer for training the week before Thanksgiving, so I haven't had a trainee yet.

I will. Give me a couple weeks to get it done. I am shooting for next weekend. Had to fix my heat pump at the house today so that killed any other plans.

Congrats. Let us know how you like it. I am not so sure I could trust my life in the hands of a rookie. I am just thankful someone was willing to take a chance on me.
