There are IC's parked at the south Kearney nj drop yard all the time, so I don't see how they would reject anyone from that area other than maybe the area is over saturated already

I had a load booked out of the Houston Area going into the Chicago area only paying like 1.09, but Chicago is the Headquarters for freight so it was well worth it.

just about anything out of Texas pays poorly.....either get your money going in, or have a plan to get out...(or plan on staying there a while...intra pays pretty good)

    EggoTrucker Thanks this.

Loads and rates took a crap this weekend because of the holidays obviously. Been killing it in the midwest for the past 2 months. Not expecting January and February to be good at all, just going to have to try to find any good stuff that's out there. Looking forward to the last week of February as hopefully the home depot and lowes stuff should pick up then.

I'm optimistic. Last year freight never seemed to skip a beat. There was not a slowdown.

I am an IC for Schnieder. First off...be prepared to not receive the bonuses (possibly) when the promise you. They offer 5 k......well...we have seen none of that. And when you have questions...be prepared (many times) to he pushed to another person to help you...another person from that person..and you could go through 5 people. Then...they have to " get back with you"...you leave messages...and much of the time your ICA isn't worth jack sh**. They are never available ..and many people you seem to want to talk to are "on vacation." They promise you advances...you may or may not get them..you'll have to call.....be put on hold forever...shuffled around to different people who don't give a #### about the fact that you have 8-12 people in your family to support...and won't give you what you've earned. Go to a different company that treats you like you matter...not where you are expendable and lost within a company to big to genuinely care about there employees/ICs. Your just a number...not a person. DONT GO WITH SCHNIEDER. ..work at walmart and see your family!!!

This sounds good but the reality is all 10 would have to. Wages at Walmart suck unless you've been there 15-20yrs!

Sorry you seem to be struggling.
