I don't think this thread will ever die, we're on at least round 3 of the argument that's been going on over the last few pages. It tends to flare up every 100 pages or so. We're at page 378 now might as well keep it alive long enough to hit 400 at least LOL.

You know the greatest thing this profession has really taught me is that "I just don't care".

I don't care about what others think about me, my truck, who I work for, or my paycheck. I do what I do because I like it and I'm happy with it, and man that is a good feeling. I truly feel sorry for those that struggle with trying to "prove" themselves to everyone else out there in the world... if you wanna prove it to someone, prove it to yourself instead and stop worrying about what others think so much. I'm too busy in my own little world to care.

I didnt say anything like that. I'm saying they want more of the profit. Schneider pays more of their would be profit to its contractors on the ic program but with legacy guys sni is making more off them. I dont care about sni's profit. I signed on with them because i knew i couldn't beat the big guys and having them in my corner would be more beneficial than going it alone.

65% isn't the greatest but remember they pay most of the tolls and there's a lot of drop and hooks.
    Landstar is the same %
Some Smaller O/O companies give a bigger % but that doesn't always mean the best rate.. plus you'll be doing tons more live load/unloads.

Overall I think it's pretty good.. don't have to deal with brokers either. Just point and click on your load and lots of drop and hooks etc. Who else offers a system like that?
There is value in the ease and the lifestyle, that value is what brought me here.

Overall I'm happy with the truck, it's light years ahead of the Freightshakers and one International I drove.
No truck is perfect though.. whoever designed the curtains in this truck must have been high for one.

    Fajo Thanks this.

Might want to think about the possibly of fuel going so low that there will be zero fuel surcharge (till after the election?). A lot of companies are subsidizing crap rates on some loads with the fuel surcharge making the load "livable ". We'll see.....

If fuel gets cheap enough im cool with the FSC going poof as im making it up in the cost of fuel depending on the price. Knights FCS works a little different they like to call it fuel protection and its at 37cpm last I checked.
