Please play Billy Joel's Scenes from an Italian restraunt,

I stop for the afternoon and night at a truck stop next to an Italian restraunt and bar. I choose a spot in back, in the mud between a dropped half of A mobile home and a dropped trailer. But a truck beside the trailer is idling at about 1,700 rpm. Ugh!

And Kansas City sucks since Brandon got let go.

Well, I did better in 2014 than in 2013!
    123,435 miles compared to 108,971.
December I had only 7,765 miles, because I took off 9.5 days over Christmas.
I had fewer loads, but the average length was up this year about 140 miles per load over last year.

I put the frameless rubber wiper blades to the test this morning.
just a tad better than the regular wiper.

I still had to reach out and grab the blade, but this one really went into an S shape and shedded the ice off it.
Occasionally, running the wiper on high would clean these better than a regular blade, but I still needed to reach out.
When driving At a faster speed, dressing like an Eskimo and keeping the cab cold, worked the best. The flakes rickocheyed off the cold glass.

But, if there was a decent weather web site, I'd have drive further south Monday and missed the snow completely .
weather.com used to be great until they improved it.

More spam from the shaffer propaganda department tonight.

If it's true they pay that much they shouldn't have any turnover and need to hire trainees, thus they don't need trainers because there would be no trainees to train. But with no trainees the trainers wouldn't make training pay. Or maybe without the training pay everyone would quit and then they would need trainees and trainers to train the trainees.

    Now...the bigger question...Who's on 1st?

sitting in the Poly breakroom yesterday, it was almost like sitting in an Aclkie terminal. About 1/3 of the drivers there were ex-Creaffers

    Allegedly,
If you would become a trainer at shaffer, you will make 88 grand this year. And that's only having a trainee for 26 weeks a year.

I think, I'm out of the truck enjoying the free wifi.

edit: you should see the Crete drivers I've seen latly, ick.
I pulled out of a dock and had to tell another Cretin to back in,so I drive up to his truck, toot, toot, toot and then the air horn, and all 390 lbs of him in just boxers steps out of the sleeper. Ick, yuk.
