Octane, The Highway, Opie and Jim Norton..... NFL or other "sport of the seasons". My son is a walking ESPN know-it-all and I try to keep up with him. When DJs and commercials annoy the bejezus out of me I throw on an audio book or if I've seen the movie enough, I'll play the movie thru my speakers...... Don't need to watch it when I know it by heart :/ but the white noise helps ease moments where I get homesick.

Coast To Coast is an entertaining show for sure...George Noory is a perfect 'take-over' for Art Bell. I wish they ran that show at a decent hour though (I suppose the time slot fits the content).

I miss The Monsters In The Morning, and Philips Phile since Clear Channel yanked their programs off of XM and gave them to iHeart Radio---both those shows are out of Orlando, FL.
I also miss Lex & Terry (also yanked off XM) out of Dallas, TX.
I also miss Phil Hendrie (Now THAT was a great show); used to broadcast out of Los Angeles...he retired.
And last but not least---a show called Lewis and Floor Wax out of Denver, Co. I think; used to be a go-to on XM. Don't know what happened to them.

not gonna lie, I do listen to Kevin Rutherford just so I can prepare myself for Coast to Coast AM. its a good preshow I guess

one thing that sucks about Clear Channel is I can't hear Dave Ramsey, Jason Lewis, Glenn Beck, etc. so that sucks there (do you see a theme here?)

If you have heard 1 Dave R. show you have heard them all..
    same old tired show..

    Example:
Caller:Uh,Yes Mr.Ramsey my wife and I have made really poor life choices all our lives and now we have discovered we are really broke and our credit is screwed and we are thinking about BK?
Dave:No,No..you don't need BK you just need to make better life choices..(Ya Think?)..yes,just pay the small bills first and start your debt snowball..
also you should run out and spend 29.95 on my book..and if you cant read you can buy tickets to my next personal appearance and I will sell you cassette tapes or Cd's for $200..

    click..

    Next caller please...

im glad his book helped you.

I also bought his book ($29.95)but I just enjoy ready financial books

and found it to be the most over simplified financial advice ever wasted onto paper..
but I have dozens n dozens of genuine financial advice books..

I was nt really trying to take a dig at Mr.Ramsey..
but his shows are all the same
his financial advice(even he admits)is Mom/Pop advice and he hawks advertises for himself constantly..
not to mention he continues to do commercials for Gold purchases(Terrible advice at this time)

Gotcha. And agreed. His advice is pretty simple. But at that point in my life it was exactly what I needed.

EDIT: And the good news is I didnt even have to buy his book!! My pastor bought it for me when I went to him about my financial situation. It was refreshing to have somebody point you in the right direction instead of telling you to pray about it. Lol
