Well Hi, Im wondering how spacious a peterbilt is. We have or my grandfathers friend has a peterbilt 357-379 dump truck and its a 1992.Im a small-big guy so when i stop somewhere the clutch is like right below the seat or atleast how it feels and sometimes it can make your knees hurt.So the boys i see in flattop 379 how does it feel to stand in it and to live in one
How spacious is a peterbilt

If you were to customize your coronado you will have more leg room then the flattop Pete will ever have. If you customize the flattop pete it will look better then the Coronado ever will. Depends on what's important to you.

CoronadoDriver Thanks this. -
All depends on if ya get stuffed into one of those micro-mini Petes Prime had for awhile. They mostly all got sold, which means they're still out there...

Your question is so single sided... That's like saying, how spacious is a mazda, then compare all mazda's to a miata. Peterbilts in general can be just as spacious as any other brand out there. The 587 we have you can't even reach across the cab sitting on the inside edge of the drivers seat. Now think about what you're asking, you're generalizing a whole brand by a single style truck that's not known to be very big.
If you're asking and comparing a flat top pete to a 70" sleeper, then there is no comparison as far as space goes. On a personal level, I'm quite comfortable in my flat top, plenty of room for my things, and comfortable enough to sleep in when the wheels aren't moving.Last edited: Jan 17, 2015
