No the rates vary by region and terminal. One example would be from my home terminal Livermore CA to Seattle WA is $1.4 plus fuel surcharge. But then I go from there to the Dallas terminal $1.05 plus fuel surcharge. From there I might go up to Chicago for $.95 plus fuel surcharge. But if I turn back to Dallas I get $1.35 plus fuel surcharge out of Chicago. So just running between Dallas/Chicago runs an average of $1.15 plus fuel surcharge.

The rates sheets were posted on another Roadrunner thread I guess it would be OK to repost them here.

Caught the biopic "Whitney" on Lifetime last night as well. Not really that impressed. Mostly showed her singing, making love with Bobby Brown snorting cocaine and fighting with her family. They seemed to show too much Bobby in my opinion. It's like they were more interested to show Bobby's emotional makeup. From the first we see that Whitney was fouled up and no explanation why or how she got into coke. But we sure had to find out that Bobby's best friend had been killed in front of him then later another friend again shot dead in Bobby's arms. Whitney's pressures seemed to come from Clive Davis forcing her to wear white instead of yellow, or tour instead of stay home to raise her newborn. Anyway, overall disappointed.

Forgot to mention they will have complimentary donuts in the mornings and subway for lunch plus all the bottled water you want during the day.
They have the hotel down the road I guess, I didn't use it, I bobtailed down to Commerce and spent the 2 nights in my truck then bobtailed back home.

I stayed there over night one Friday night. They have a crew that comes in and washes all the daycabs and degreases their engines. Well, I don't know how often they come out but they cleaned my engine really well for $20 bucks.

When do you pick up your truck and where do you pick it up? I suppose it will be close enough that you can return back to Commerce and get your first load. Hopefully they can get you rolling really quick. That first couple weeks should be no deductions coming out of your settlement, best time to break off big miles.

A SCOTTIED67, Just finished up a stint with (Just Been Hired Unfortunatley Not Trained) what a ordeal that was for 6 wks. Talking with RRTS and things look good, thanks for positive feedback. Anyway love the BigRoad app as last company had me on paper, so I would run BR and cap the day off reporting on Plog.
Pick up the app thru playstore on my phone little over a year ago, now have on my tablet. Thanks again Roady304 C-YA somewhere sometime lol

The new rates were detailed in the new contract of which I very quickly skimmed over but it looked like most of the lanes showed a ten cents bump. I will see if I can convert them to pictures and upload them on here.

The reason why I ask about the raise is is it worth staying here at forward air LTL or come to RR LTL I can't decide.

I won't be able to post the new rates on here as they are buried in the contract as a .pdf. Anyway, was just looking at a couple lanes I run one was the same rate as current and the other was 5 cents more. I can't say whether it is worth it or not. For me I like the easy running pace however I am torn about the missing option to book our own loads. I figure to start looking around to lease my truck on somewhere else. We've bascially been turned into another hamster wheel carrier-- never really get ahead.
