Yep! And I cringe every time I pass one while they are all over their lane and half in mine.

I was run into the median on I-81 by one of these mega fleet 6 month trainers....
I kept it up right and came out of the grass with no damage..
    The other driver never stopped!

6 months is no way long enough to be a trainer! Don't care who thinks I'm being an A-hole!

Agreed on that EZ Money.....6 years , much less 6 months experience is on the short side if you ask me.....these companies that put folks in that position after only a few months aren't very safety conscious. The truth be told you never stop learning , whether you're a rookie with only 6 months behind you , or a rookie with 30 years behind you. Some folks I understand make better instructors than others , of course , I taught a couple of drivers , but soon learned I didn't have what it took to really be a good " teacher ".......that's where the real rub lies.....and the OP hit the nail on the head in his post # 24.....and without even thinking about what he was saying , he made my point for me.....you become a trainer because you want to help others learn....not so you're able to help your own bottom line / pocket book.....

Do you want to go to work for a company where YOUR trainer has only been driving for six months??? Most of the six month companies require no tickets or accidents during that six months which is really nothing.

I have friends that have been driving for 20 plus years that are tired of driving but don't know what else they can do and earn a decent paychecks. I have run into other drivers tired of trucking and it typically happens around 20 years of long hours and being away from home. Not knowing when you will get home is another issue.

Yeah...that's what I was saying (in response to another post)...not that I became a trainer at six months.

Welcome to forums based on careers. The need to validate oneself is sprinkled all over forums because a mass gathering ,whip it out contest will never happen... They jerks lob out the occasional "you can't,...you won't,...you shouldn't,..." Ir the cliched "rookie" when creativity is at a low.

There are two ways to shine:
1: Try your best and FN shine!
2: Try to dull all those around you.

Pretty easy to decipher when you read replies. Question is, who will you be??

You people read so much more than there is to what I type ,I'm done posting on this forum because quite frankly you're jerks[/QUOTE]
