I wouldn't worry about if they had ltl or not. It's not like you have to load it.
Conway estes ups type of companies do not have ltl jobs. You pick up. Swap. Go back. Unless your on the conway long haul. Then is pick and drop normal van freight like everyone else.
I believe what you want is dry van, home time. pay, benefits.
Try this.

Ltl is picking up for multiple companies taking a period of 2 days to a week to have a full truck. Then start going along dropping and picking. I don't know of any company that actually hires drivers to do ltl.
There is one reputable company. rsc trucking However you don't run ltl as an individual truck would. They get all the ltl in the area. Load it up on a trailer with local guy or from their warehouse.
You come in. Drop n hook and go.
To you it would be considered 1 pick. Multiple drop.
What ltl will hire w/o exp

Ummm... Yes, they do. That's what they are. They're just local as opposed to OTR.Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this. -
dhout, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
LTL is Less than Truckload. It does include what you described, but it also--and primarily--includes FedEx Freight, Old Dominion, Saia, Estes and any other company that hauls other-than-truckload freight. These are the very definition of LTL jobs.JReding Thanks this. -
That's not how it works. At least not with the companies that people are talking about here. When most people say "LTL positions"...they're talking about Pickup & Delivery (P&D) Drivers. For pick-ups...P&D drivers go out on their routes running any number of deliveries in a day. It could be one stop (i.e. I loaded a complete "pup" today with 13 large items that were going to one customer) or it could be 10+ stops. The P&D driver will have pre-established pick-ups...and they will also get pinged via e-message (if the carrier has an electronic system) to pick-up an item from a customer. Pick-ups from all route drivers are combined at the end of the shift and sent wherever they need to go. -
Reddaway and YRC takes 0 exp. Just have doubles and triples endorsement and Hazmat. They just had a hiring event SO that means they need drivers.
