Ok... so when is this nasty snow storm coming??

Freightliner finished repairs at 6 pm local time... My stupid mistake cost the co. a total of almost $ 3,000.00... It was $ 530.00 for towing and $ 2,285.15 for the repairs... and they didn't replace the DEF tank... they pumped DEF out, drained the coolant, replaced the header and the o-ring, cleaned the tank and flushed the def lines and nozzle... and added new DEF and refilled the coolant...

So, I bobtail out of Freightliner this evening and got to where trailer was... a whooping total of 20 miles today... Now I am hooked but not going anywhere till daylight tomorrow... and will head towards NJ... if the roads will be open...

Talked to dad's doctor tonight... He filled out the FMLA form and will fax it to my co. tomorrow...
Talked to dad and he said now he has decided will have surgery and will check in hospital tomorrow... It will take me a few weeks to get there... He asked me to pray for him...

 

Evenin folks. Y'all have had busy fingers again I see. Campin out here in snowy Raphine Va. for a lil bit! Got Mechanicsburg off, then bounced over to Philly and reloaded. Been a tad breezy around these parts. Looks like tonight and tomorrow the sho-nuff snow and blow is gonna arrive. We headed down to Brownsville Tn for an AM Wed unload. Rocks, hope all goes well with the truck, paperwork, and most importantly your Dad! Y'all keep it safe, check y'all later!

Hey...what a coincidence.... I was just reading that same article... Guess I will stay right here... at this small trailer lot... cause not sure I would find parking at that service plaza on my way to NJ... There must be many trucks stranded around these areas...

 

Just a reminder that a good chunk of the folks that commute from Lodi to SF are on East coast hours.

Local commute time starts ramping up @ 03:00 local time.

 

Looks like food and gas haulers get a pass. If I weren't 800 miles away, I could try driving in NJ. Yay..

i love Jersey....south of Trenton...but I'm not exactly normal.
