Does it support google services? Type of screen ie pixel density, resolution, gorilla glass? CPU processor size n speed? Ram? Onboard memory ie 16gb, 32gb, 64gb? What external ports USB 3.0 or USB 2.0, HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0? WiFi or lte? Support WiFi 5 GHz? If googles android which version jelly bean, kit Kat, lollipop? For $500 in a eight inch tablet should have top specs or are we just paying for Rand McNally name?

Here is a better idea....how about letting us buy whatever tablet we want and simply create an app we can purchase and run on whatever tablet we choose. You will never satisfy people with whatever tablet you go with anyway.
plus you could then simply update your app as often as necessary.

In the end you would have fewer complaints since you would not be responsible for the hardware...ultimately i believe it to be far more profitable.

    I'm not holding my breath.
    They keep changing the date.
I called phone support last week and they told me the update would be out this week.

Guess not much time to work on maps for an older product when you keep coming out with new stuff.
Which lets face it..not sure why anybody would consider buying a new one.
My guess is it will be the same way.

Let's not start this again. Different departments work on different things.

I am not in Skokie so a lot of times you will know something that I do not know about things like this. I work out of my house in NC. I have the schedule, but as always until RM announces it publically I cannot post it.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Not much to confirm since Loves has them in stock and a full page flyer on it, and TA has them in stock as well. Looks interesting. A friend bought one and says the Dash Cam is 720P and does an OK job.
