I do catch your meaning. I'm not a new driver, just taking some time off to work on this knee. My Prime recruiter said to 'expect 40,000, but...'

You're coming in as a C-seat, so its 40,000 +/-. PSD students get credit for 10,000 miles, so they do 30,000 +/- in TnT.

Hey all. Been reading the forum and doing research for a while now and have decided on Prime Inc! Supposed to start orientation on the 16th... I've read a hell of a lot on these forums and have asked family (that are in the trucking industry also) but wondering from you vets out there what the best piece of advice you could give a newb like me? Like if you could give yourself one piece of info when you first started what would it be? Thanks and God bless..

I'm not a veteran but here's what I've been told

    have a sense of humor

    always pay attention

    stay stress free

road rage gets you absolutely nowhere

and ignore the dummies on channel 19 enless it pertains to your safety

    wbeck46 Thanks this.

What you've been told will keep you on the road a long time. Putting all that advice into practice can be a challenge at times, so keep them in mind as you progress.

    wbeck46 Thanks this.

Best advice I received was if you want to make money keep the left door closed so I climb in and out the passenger side door

So I see prime is up for nomination for best fleet to drive for. Who the heck is judging this? I've noticed most companies nominated are from Canada and the Midwest. My question is do you think that prime is the best fleet to drive for? Sell it to me. I might just want to be apart of the best fleet.
