I pulled 47,900 out of there 2 days ago and headed up 220. Got my CAT scale ticket in Ridgeway and didn't have to adjust the axles even 1 hole. (pats self on back) :)

Where did you take those to? If you went thru Rocky Mount Va. area that is where I am out of. Our window plant is over there. I know you had to have fun pulling some of those hills.

I went up to PA, a bit north of Carlisle. Was only grossing 77100, so it wasn't bad. I do trips like that, with similar weights, more often than I want to but the customers are good folks, so that helps. Customer wanted to look in the trailer before he let me drop it. Nothing unusual for that location, they do it all of the time. He said a lot of times, the loads will shift, have pallets turned over, etc. I understand. Tall loads, curvy roads, red lights at bottom of hills, all make for a potential mess. Nary a lean to any of the pallets on my trailer.

And yes, I busted right through Rocky Mount to I-581 and I-81.

Jacksonville. Getting unloaded now. Screwed up and missed out on 2 loads this morning. They weren't marked as "new" so I figured they had been there for a while. So I was checking the google maps mileage to find the true rates. Decide on the one I want, go back, someone has assigned it. Tab over to the other one, oh look, someone grabbed that one too. ****!

Well found something and decided to grab it. The loads I originally wanted paid about 1.40 a mile including the deadhead from Jacksonville FL to Savannah, but like I said I missed out on both of those. came down Found another one going up to NC that I grabbed, the rate is a little less but at least I'm not sitting in Florida trying to find a load out for $1.00 a mile. I came down here at about $2.40 a mile so it will even out OK.

that **** always happens to me when I find a great paying load.
You can't think or plan JUST click ASAP.

This week I got my first error code saying "load already assigned to another driver" meaning within seconds somebody clicked faster than me on a new load :biggrin_25510:
